The Aardvarks — Lehigh Valley Rock Cover Band

The Aardvarks have been the Lehigh Valley's mainstay rock cover band for over 20 years, built on a musical bond between guitarist/vocalist Mike Rauscher (The Armadillos, The Honey Buzzards) and keyboardist/vocalist Rod Walls (The Armadillos & The Seamrippers) that dates back to 1997.

Guitarist Jay Morgan (Good Time Charlie) and drummer Jason Sanita (Wake Up Naked) joined the 'Varks in 2003, bringing the high-energy Dance/Rock super-sets and song medleys the band is known for to venues and events across the Valley.

Over two decades, the lineup has evolved but the mission hasn't: covering the best of classic rock, dance, and party anthems from the '70s straight through today's charts, played loud enough to fill a dance floor and tight enough to make it look easy.

After a few years away, Sanita rejoined in 2025 alongside bassist Brenden Hackett (The Honey Buzzards & Rhino Campground), rounding out today's lineup: Mike Rauscher, Rod Walls, Jay Morgan, Jason Sanita, and Brenden Hackett.
